Sander van der Linden is a professor of social psychology at the University of Cambridge. He studies the psychology of social influence, risk, human judgment, and decision-making and is the author of Financial Times Best Book of the Year 2023, ‘Foolproof’. In this interview, host Dr Josephina Price talks with Sander about the book, his research, and how misinformation can affect healthcare.

Lucy Pollock trained in medicine at Cambridge and at Bart's Hospital, and worked as a junior doctor in East London before moving to Somerset, where since 2001 she has been a consultant specialising in the care of those who are frail and elderly.
